INTENTION STATEMENT
Gardens are a place for us to cultivate flowers, healing herbs, and food for ourselves and our families. The vision of The Purple Garden is to encourage people to deepen their connection with plants and nature by creating sacred spaces for refuge, relaxation, and healing.
WHO IS PURPLE GARDEN
The Purple Garden is owned by Michele Eccleston, a garden designer, wetland biologist, and herbalist living in Portland, Oregon. Michele has many years of gardening experience and a unique knowledge of the plant world. Michele has designed many native landscapes for wetlands and stream buffers during her 15-year career as a wetland scientist. She teaches herbal medicine classes about the basics of growing herbs and using them for food and medicine.
